You can pay for training either on-line on our website via our PayPal facility or via a bank transfer, our details for both appear on your invoice.

Absolutely, however we still need you to do follow on application of the tools and techniques to embed your learning. If you are not currently employed, we can help you apply the techniques to historical examples of processes you have worked in previously, so that you fully understand the technique. We can also advise you on the facilitation challenges to watch out for, as you won’t get the opportunity to run the exercise with a group, to ensure you are prepared when you secure your next role.

Our hotel partners will be delighted to help with accommodation, there is a link on our website next to your preferred course which will take you directly to the relevant booking site.

Our hotels will offer a 10% discount on their best available 'flexible standard rate' for all accommodation bookings made by our delegates attending courses for the night before, during or after training. Use the 'Click Here' option under 'Other' on the event bookings page to go directly to the hosts website, discount will be applied automatically.

All cancellations or transfers must be requested directly to MaxCap Consultants Ltd using email address of bookings@maxcapconsultants.com

All bookings can be cancelled or transferred; however, fees will apply as follows:

  • More than 20 working days prior to the course start date.
    • Changes can be made free of charge.
    • Between 20 and 10 working days prior to the course start date.
      • 50% of invoice value will be applied as a cancellation or transfer fee.
    • Less than 10 working days prior to the course start date.
      • 100% of invoice value applies, no refunds/credits will be provided.
  • Working days are defined as Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, excluding bank holidays.
  • Once a delegate has transferred once, any future cancellations will not be refunded or credited, although a further transfer may be agreed at the discretion of MaxCap Consultants Ltd.

 

 

If you cancel or transfer a place on a course where a discount was applied, the following fees will apply depending on notice period given:

  • More than 20 working days prior to the course start date.
    • Transfers can be made free of charge.
    • Cancellations will result in a 20% charge against the cost of the specific course places being cancelled i.e. if a course space was charged at £400 a fee of £80 will be charged. The discount will remain in place for the remaining course spaces that were booked if this was a block booking.
    • Less than 20 working days prior to the course start date.
      • 100% of invoice value applies, no refunds/credits will be provided.

MaxCap reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. In these circumstances we will offer an alternative date, a credit or a full refund without any liability for consequential or indirect loss.

Training material will be provided via our online reference library. Delegates will receive an email with a login for our site within 24hrs of completing the training course.

This material is covered by strict copyright laws and unauthorised distribution or reproduction is absolutely forbidden.

All information provided by MaxCap is given in good faith to support the practical implementation of the techniques taught to the attending delegate within the organisation that sponsored the delegate through training.

It is strictly prohibited to utilise or pass MaxCap information on to any other organisation outside of the sponsoring company. If the company in question is a multi-site organisation, then the material is only approved to be utilised by the attending site, further delegates from other sites would need to attend training in order to gain access to the material.

MaxCap will not be held responsible in any way, for actions taken by the delegate, or any other individual within the organisation or any other organisation as a result of the information provided during the training course.

Yes, 'certificates of attendance' will be provided for all courses,

If you participate in the full 3 month Lean Leader skills development programme, then a 'Lean Leader Skills Achievement Certification' will be provided on completion of the full course,  including practical demonstration of skills gained (assessed during your coaching sessions) and delivery of a quick win that delivers, as a minimum, a return on the investment in your training. Allocation of these certificates will be at the discretion of MaxCap with the approval of your Executive Sponsor.

Certificates will be sent via email within 7 days of course completion.

Course completion is considered to include course attendance, delivery of agreed actions and completion of the inclusive coaching hours.

In the case of a full Lean Leader skills development programme, additional evidence is required to demonstrate skills gained and this will form part of the completion criteria.

Public training courses will be held in various locations as specified in the advertised schedule on our website. In very rare circumstances the venue itself may need to change, however the city itself will always remain the same.

Therefore, if you book an Edinburgh course it will run in Edinburgh, however if events out with our control affect our current hotel partner’s premises we may need to move at short notice to an alternative venue. In these circumstances, all delegates will be offered the option to either cancel or transfer to an alternative course free of charge.

Yes, a 10% 'Early Bird' discount is offered for any bookings made, and paid for in full, more than 30 days in advance of the course start date.

Early bird discounts are automatically applied when booking through the on-line system on our website.

Yes, a light breakfast snack, lunch and mid-day snacks will be provided as well as unlimited tea, coffee and water with every course and costs are included in the course fee.

Casual, our courses all involve practical application of techniques and therefore you will be moving around the room working in small teams. We want you to feel at ease, so please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Yes, you will discuss with your trainer what suits you best. You may wish to have a couple of weeks to put your learnings into practice and then have a follow up call to discuss how it went or what challenges you faced. This allows you to get further advice on how you can mitigate any issues. You can split the time and the calls in whatever way you desire as long as you remain within your allocated time.

For example, if you attended the process mapping and waste training you will have 2hrs of call time allocated. You may choose to take this as 1 x 2hr slot or you may split it into 4x30min calls each 2 weeks apart to allow you time to put further learnings into action.

Of course, if you wish further support, you can also purchase further coaching time if desired.

Yes, the follow up coaching calls are intended to help you implement your specific action plan and therefore it is essential you have focused time with your trainer, on your own, to ask any questions that you might have about your environment and your unique challenges.

Yes, you certainly can, often our delegates find it useful to send us either documentation or photos of their workshop outputs for us to review and provide feedback. So, whether you and your team have created a process map, a fishbone diagram, or a change implementation plan, we are always happy to review and provide guidance either by email or via a call, preferably both! Note that these reviews will consume time from your allocated coaching hours.

Yes, all coaching time must be consumed within 3 months of the course completion date.

Yes, we can offer in-house training and it can be a great option if you have a large number of delegates requiring the same training. In this situation you provide the training venue and the hospitality, and we provide the trainer and course material. This often results in a more cost-effective solution than public training.

Yes, they can. We can create an in-house ‘custom’ course where we tailor our material to your specific business. We can even rebrand our training material to launch under your own branding internally, however there is an additional cost for this service, which varies depending on the level of customisation required.

This option is usually considered by larger companies looking at delivering training as part of a larger LEAN transformation initiative. They are usually looking to brand the material as their own and are intending utilising their own internal trainers to deliver the training.
