Helping Businesses improve their resilience in the wake of COVID-19!

We were honoured to be approached by the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce a few weeks ago to write an educational piece for this month's issue of the Business Comment Magazine. The Magazine's focus this month is on the impact of Coronavirus on our economy, and aims to pull together advice from a variety of industries and experts to help businesses in Edinburgh, and the whole of Scotland, bounce back in the wake of the pandemic! We thought long and hard about the best advice we could provide at this time, and about the common issues some of our clients have asked us to help them with during this difficult period, and we settled on one of our favourite subjects: Business Agility!

If you follow us on LinkedIn already, you will know that we talk about Business Agility frequently, and that is because it is just too important to ignore these days. Customer needs change, regulations change, and technology changes on a regular basis, and now we are experiencing an unprecedented shift in how we simply conduct business with each other, and the outcome of that shift is still unknown. Your internal operations have to be flexible, and your people engaged and ready, in order to adapt to new situations quickly and effectively or you may struggle to survive and grow.

So, what is Business Agility and what do you need to do to achieve it?

You can start by heading to Page 16 of the Business Comment Magazine and having a read through our '4 key foundation steps'. This will help you understand if you currently have any of the steps in place, and what steps you might be missing. You will also get a better understanding of what it means to be truly agile.
